Why book a private chef for your UK holiday home?

Take the food, the experience, and the memories to a whole new level

Planning a trip away for a group of people takes a lot of effort and a lot of organisation. Once you get to the dream cottage, the historic manor house, the beachfront luxury home, or wherever your wanderlust takes you, it’s time to relax. You’re there to make memories and connect with each other, not be tied to the oven.

Hiring a private chef to cook for your holiday means as much or as little of your catering is covered as you want. Paul can plan, prepare, and cook every single meal for your stay, guaranteeing your holiday will be as stress- free as possible. Or, you might want to treat yourselves to a luxury four- course dinner one evening, meaning you can sit back and enjoy all your loved ones around a table for the first time in a long time.

You’re simply going to have a much better holiday by hiring a private chef. You get to relax and be in the moment while every part of the prep, cook, and clean-up is taken care off.

The memories of your holiday will last a lifetime, and the food is going to be a highlight. Only a professional chef can cook like a professional chef. As well as having you and your guests looked after, you’ll also be working with a small business, making a sustainable choice, and supporting local producers and suppliers.

How hiring a private chef works

Every step of hiring a private chef for your luxury holiday

From enquiry to event, in just six steps

  • Get in touch and tell us all about your holiday requirements and the location. We’ll confirm availability. Your booking is locked in once you’ve paid the 25% deposit.

  • We can work with your preference. Either, Paul will confirm your catering menu before your holiday according to what is in season, and what is offered by local suppliers, or Paul can make decisions with you day by day as your holiday progresses.

  • Chef Paul Evans collects your ingredients from trusted organic and sustainable suppliers, farmshops, and supermarkets. Paul then begins his journey to your holiday location.

  • On the day your holiday begins Paul will arrive with the ingredients and equipment he needs to cater for your holiday. He’ll cook and prepare everything in the kitchen onsite.

  • Paul perfectly plates each dish, but his job’s not over. He then cleans the kitchen, washes up, and packs everything away. He’ll also begin preparing for the next meal to ensure everything is ready at the agreed time.

  • The remaining 75% of the fee is due within 7 days of Pauls departure. We’d love to book another event with you in the future.

We can recommend wait staff, florists, wine merchants, and seating and table hire through our recommendations page.

Is a hiring a private chef right for your holiday?

Our clients love the good things in life, and know that special memories are priceless

We all have busy lives. Coordinating schedules to get a whole family away together is not easy, and neither is organising a group of friends for a holiday.

Whether the reason is ‘just because’, or it’s for a special event like a 40th birthday, a hen party, or an anniversary, it’s worth really treating yourselves.

Why spend your evening a busy restaurant when you can enjoy the quiet luxury of your holiday home. Likewise, why spend your holiday buying ingredients, and cooking meals when you should be relaxing with your loved ones.

This is why our clients book The Season Kitchen. It’s why they book again, and again.

With a private chef, you get delicious, seasonal dishes without any of the stress of organising. After all, you’re meant to be on holiday, not taking on the cooking, prep, and cleaning while everyone else enjoys themselves.

Do I provide the plates, crockery, and cutlery?

Yes. Generally, there are plenty of plates, crockery, and cutlery provided at holiday rentals. Paul will use your plates, crockery, and cutlery.
